This hidden gem ranks way up there with your typical “Mr & Mrs Smith” boutique hotel. Very tasteful decoration, superb customer service, and a breakfast to die for. In fact, the 2nd best breakfast I’ve ever found, anywhere in the world (1st was at a 3* Michelin restaurant “Oud Sluis”). Reasonable room rates, smooth registration and check-in, and the kind of service you long for in so-called classy 5* hotels. It’s worth the detour, if you’re anywhere in the vicinity.
